How to use it:

  1. Remove the bottom cap of the filter and place it directly in the water you'd like to filter. Let the bottom part of the filter soak in the water for about 20 seconds (to prime the filter's membranes).
  2. Remove the top cap of the filter and sip.
  3. Regularly blow air through the mouthpiece of the filter after each use, to keep it from clogging.
  4. After using the filter, use the included flushing plunger (one per filter) to push clean water through the sip straw section. This helps dislodge debris and backflush the interior membranes. Continue flushing until clean water flows from the dirty water intake. Then, use the plunger to blow air through the filter to help dry it before long-term storage. This process ensures steady water flow and extends the filter's lifespan.
  5. Dry it thoroughly before placing the protective caps back on the filter, and storing it long term.

Use Gravity:

  1. To filter the water using a bottle: Find a bottle with threading that matches the thread on the bottom of the filter - the typical soda or water bottle will do (28mm threads). The newer thin walled water bottles with the thin caps do not work with this filter.
  2. Fill the bottle with the water you’d like to filter and attach it to the bottom of the filter.
  3. Flip the water bottle upside down for the water to flow through. When the flow slows down, either squeeze the bottle or let air back into it.
  4. To filter using a gravity bag system: Simply connect the dirty water tube to the filter’s dirty water intake, and clean water will flow through the sip straw

Avoid dropping the filter on hard ground or letting it freeze with water still inside of it - it may damage the membrane or the body of the filter.

Value meets quality

Unlike most filters that only rinse or backwash, leaving contaminants to clog or breed bacteria, ours includes a powerful flushing syringe (1 per filter included in the box).

Use clean water under pressure to deeply clean your filter—ensuring peak performance, unmatched reliability, and a longer lifespan when you need it most.
