The radishes themselves are packed with nutrients and are a great source of protein and carbohydrates for these animals. Radishes also help attract and retain deer and turkey in a given area. The radishes have a strong odor, which makes them easy for these animals to find and enjoy. This means that if you plant tillage radishes in your food plot, you can be sure that deer and turkey will be drawn to it and will stick around to eat and enjoy the radishes. These radishes are very hardy and can withstand a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions.

This makes them a great choice for food plots in areas where other plants may not thrive. The clovers have a deep root system that allows them to access moisture & nutrients from deep in the soil, even during dry periods making them highly drought tolerant. Crimson clovers produce small, sweet-tasting flowers that are highly attractive & sought after by deer & turkey. The flowers are also an important source of nectar for bees and other pollinators. Of course, this blend can also be used in a no-till drill. When using the drill method you will not have to account for over seeding as the seeds will be directly impregnated into the soil and not as easily accessible to birds. Either method you the key for the best food plots for deer is to sow the seeds before good & consistent rain watering. Improve your soil.

Having roots living in your pasture or wildlife food plot turf is key for improving your soil's food web health. Having plants growing year-round prevents erosion and keeps dirt cool to aid in drought conditions. All of these things combined help to grow bigger crops, heavy roots and sweeter forage. The soil food web is made up of the various organisms that live in the soil, including bacteria, fungi, & other microorganisms. These organisms play a critical role in maintaining the health of the soil, as they break down organic matter & release nutrients that plants need to grow. Soil health is important for many reasons. For one, healthy soil is essential for growing healthy plants. It provides plants with the nutrients & water they need to grow and thrive. Healthy soil is also important for preventing erosion, which can cause soil to be washed away by water or wind. Healthy soil food webs will produce heavier, more nutritious, attractive greens, fast forage & foliage to feed wild game.

High quality Crooked Bend seed attracts pollinators, wildlife and trophy wild game with flowers

Pollinator attraction.

Attracting pollinators to your wildlife food plot can also have significant benefits for both the deer & turkey, as well as the overall ecosystem. Pollinators like bees, butterflies, & hummingbirds play a crucial role in the reproduction & growth of plants. Without them, the plants in your food plot may not be able to produce the seeds & fruits that deer and turkey rely on for sustenance. In turn, this could lead to a decrease in the overall health & population of these animals. Additionally, pollinators help to increase the diversity and abundance of plants in your food plot. This not only provides a wider range of food options, but it also creates a more dynamic & healthy ecosystem. This can also lead to an increase in other beneficial wildlife, such as songbirds & small mammals, which can further enhance the overall biodiversity of your property. Keeping these honeybees, butterflies, lady bugs, & beneficial insects around your plots will pay in dividends for your food plot results.
