Suggested Instruction for catching Weasel with Lenon's Weasel Super All Call - Lure / Scent:

Always use fresh bait along with weasel lure, preferably chicken or rabbit for best results.  Hang the bait 8 inches back  6 inches above the trap.  Place a quantity of lure the size of a large bean beneath, not on the bait.  This old-time secret formula will triple the harvest of extra large old weasel.   Not for human consumption.

Weasel caught in a live cage trap using lenon's weasel super all call lure

Made with pride by John Chagnon using old family secret formulas and techniques created by Asa and Herb Lenon.  "Serving Trappers Since 1924"

Weasel "All Call" Set by Herbert Lenon

For results, convenience and maintaining weasel traps in working order regardless of weather, no sets equal the "Trap inside a box set"

To make this box properly, cut two pieces of one-inch lumber, six inches square, drive a nail in one piece to hang bait on, cut a notch one and a half inches square in top side of the other, for sides and bottom cut three pieces a foot long, six inches wide, nail them  to the first two pieces to form sides and bottom with hole and nail to the top side.  For the roof cut a piece 15 inches long, eight inches wide, use one nail to nail it at one corner at back end of box, this size fully covers the box and the extra three inches form a porch out over the hold so rain, snow, sleet does not enter.  Nail and set the trap inside the box, trap directly under the hole, hang the bait on the nail, chicken offal or rabbit is best, smear Lenon's Weasel "All Call" on floor of box just back of trap, use quantity the size of a bean,.  Trap need not be covered.

When making these sets, place bait, scent and set trap at home so one need only place the readied box when setting them out.

When tending or resenting traps, swing the cover around on the one corner nail that holds it.
